As Virginia Uranium’s name suggests, our roots are in Virginia. Our site in Pittsylvania County is on land that’s been owned by the families living there for generations (some as far back as the 1780s). Concern for the community’s progress and respect for the environment are deeply ingrained in the Company’s values.

Energy Independence. The United States is at a critical crossroad in its energy needs and dependence on foreign supply. Domestic energy sources have never been more important. The Coles Hill uranium deposit is believed to have the amount of raw materials needed to supply fuel for existing nuclear energy plants in the United States for a period of nearly two years. |

Community Development. At prevailing prices, the Coles Hill ore body has the potential to generate billions of dollars of revenue. We are dedicated to using this natural resource as a catalyst for economic development for all of Southside Virginia. Our goal over the coming years of exploration and development is to encourage and involve the community in a variety of entrepreneurial enterprises to enhance the success and quality of life of the region at all levels. | |

Conservation. We are committed to leaving the land, water, and other natural resources in as good or better condition than they are today. We will remediate all areas as required by law and use all efforts to properly place the land in appropriate conservation easements. | |
